The new store is the company’s second store opened in the province in 5 months and 17th overall, reflecting Builders’ continued investment in accessible, value-driven home improvement retail.

Community Upliftment
As part of the store opening, Builders partnered with FoodForward SA to support community upliftment in the surrounding area. Three beneficiary organisations located within a five-kilometer radius of the store will each receive a Community Garden Starter Pack to assist with the establishment and long-term sustainability of new community gardens. Together, these three organisations support over 840 beneficiaries.
Each starter pack includes 47 essential items, such as gardening tools, irrigation equipment, compost, fertiliser, and protective gear, providing the resources needed to create productive and sustainable gardens.
The beneficiary organisations are:
- Yizani Sibonisane Seniors Club– A centre providing support and services senior citizens;
- Imfuneko Community Projects – An organisation managing a disability programme, feeding scheme, community garden, and afterschool programme;
- The Safe House Trust – A shelter for abused women and children.
