Anthea Holland serves as chief legal counsel and company secretary for Massmart. She joined the company in 2013 within the Builders Legal Team and has 15 years of experience in law and risk management. She has held various positions within the Massmart Legal Department, including her latest role as the Assistant General Counsel and VP for Litigation, Regulatory, Risk, and Legal Operations. In this role, Anthea successfully led various litigation across Africa, and drove legal efficiencies by leveraging technology in the Legal Department.

Anthea is a qualified attorney with a BCom LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand.
