Makro, Game & Builders Launch a World-First Mid-Year Spotify Wrapped Experience for their Halfway Day Deals

Massmart-owned retailers Makro, Game, and Builders are flipping the script on tradition by bringing a global first for their Halfway Day promotion – a Mid-Year Wrapped experience within music and podcast streaming app Spotify.


The music streaming app typically brings this year in review listening experience to its users at the end-of-year but this year, Makro, Game, and Builders are flipping the script on the tradition by bringing it to the middle of the year. This approach aligns with the overall spirit of their Halfway Day promotion, which delivers Black Friday-type deep cut deals to customers in the middle of the year.


From 27–29 June 2025 Spotify users can log into Spotify and discover their very own Mid-Year Wrapped, consisting of sounds that have defined the first half of 2025 and brought to them exclusively by Game, Makro and Builders. As part of the experience users will also get to see and click through to a selection of Game, Makro, and Builders Halfway Day deals.
