Our areas of strategic focus remain unchanged:

  • To drive the growth and profitability of the core South African business over the medium-term is a priority and we are making good progress in this regard;
  • To expand further into Food Retail and Fresh in our existing formats and Masscash Retail;
  • Sub-Saharan African expansion remains a priority and in the next two years we anticipate opening 13 new stores representing African space growth of about 50%; and
  • We continue to expand and improve our ecommerce offerings.
