This training was provided to 14,715 full-time and 6,528 part-time employees who undertook over 11,484 different types of training programmes. These employees included 5,767 management and 14,564 non-management employees, averaging out at 14.51 hours of training per employee. Our estimated per capita training investment for the period shows an increase from R1, 261 for 2009 to R1, 574 in 2010 and R1, 879 for the current reporting period. A further breakdown of this number shows a total of 8,783 females being included in the training programmes and 17,461 Indian, Coloured or Black staff members and 194 disabled staff. |
